Eko Pener

Eko Pener is a social sculpture that was set on fire during  Neighborhood  New Year's Eve 2021/22, as part of the annual Łazarus  tradition. The created installation refers to the situations and problems faced by humanity in the era of pandemics and more. These are issues that exist in the social discourse, but their importance has only recently been recognized.

The character will also become a collector of caps, which is supposed to make people reflect on the environment and take care of it. The name indicating eco pener is supposed to symbolise the transformation of thinking about segregation, which nowadays goes beyond the margins and becomes an everyday habit.

It is a symbol that the problems that society is currently facing do not only concern selected groups, but all inhabitants of our planet.

The income from the collected caps will be donated to a selected charity purpose.
